FOOD FOR PESACH AVAILABLE- GET TICKET VOUCHERS THIS SUNDAY 3/25/12 7PM - 9PM

Boruch Hashem, there have been many contributors towards food for families in Crown Heights this year. Of course with the classic signature leadership style that is so apparent in Crown Heights, there are several individuals as well as several organizations that are conducting food distributions. Among the many distributors known are: Mrs. Devorah Schiener, Rabbi Benji Stock, and Mr. Joseph Popack.

Last year, on behalf of the Vaad Hakohol, I distributed two truck-loads of food and every last package was distributed b'h. Last year's experience has shown me that indeed there are many families that may not need help all year around, but do in fact need help for a holiday that is so expensive, like Pesach.

The food distribution that is being conducted by Bella Vilenkin on behalf of the CHJCC is separate and apart from the one I am conducting.

IF YOU NEED HELP WITH FOOD FOR PESACH PLEASE COME TO THE CHJCC OFFICE 387 KINGSTON AVENUE, BROOKLYN NY 11225 ON SUNDAY MARCH 25, 2012 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7PM AND 9PM, TO PICK UP A TICKET VOUCHER.

Crown Heights residents only, please make sure to bring valid photo ID and proof of address.

please note that the actual food distribution will be conducted on Wednesday March 28, 2012 8pm - 10pm. Packages will be given to only to ticket holders, as the food will be ordered according to the number of tickets given out.

THE VAAD HAKOHOL OF CROWN HEIGHTS WOULD LIKE TO GIVE SPECIAL THANKS TO THE DONORS WHOSE KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY MADE THIS FOOD DISTRIBUTION POSSIBLE:

ONEG SHABBOS OF BOROUGH PARK

MR. SAM CHANIN AND THE CHANIN CHARITY FUND

RABBI DOVID FISCHER

MR. MOSHE MALAMUD

MR. MOTTIE WIENER

MR. ISRAEL BENCHEMOUN

MR. MORDECHAI WERDE

MR. CHANINA SPERLIN

Thanks to these special individuals and so many more that are not known to me, we have a community that shares and makes peace with one another in times and circumstances when such help is so dearly needed. May Hashem bless all of you and your families health and wealth and success in all your endeavors for kosher and freilicheh Pesach.

Zaki Tamir
