Let's Be Clear...

To clarify my previous remarks on the ikul issued by the beis din of Rabbi Krauss:

We have not been told by the zablo to ignore the ikul.

Nor have we been instructed to refrain from any activity on account of the ikul. The Vaad Hakohol has not received any instructions on how to proceed at all.

And again, we have not received a hazmonah, or any other communication, from the ikul beis din. And our own rabbonim are divided on the meaning and repercussions of the ikul.

The Vaad Hakohol is doing its best to act in a sensible and diplomatic way in the absence of a clear Daas Torah in this matter. What else can we do?

What would you do?

you getting yourself in a deep mess first you say that rabbi rosenberg told you to ignore the ikkul now you are saying he didnt??

what you should do is nothing!! dont do anything until you are to do so? why the rush?? do you want to be responsible for the churbon of crown heights? lets get this right if not for us for our children!! rabbi braun is a young man and he will be here for a long time lets get him the respect he deserves!
and remember the emes will always come out at the end
ps will see if you post this comment or if this website only posts the comments they want which will say alot about the current vaad

  2. Do only what the Zabl"a Bies Din tells you to do. They are the only ones all three Robbonyim are obligated to!!
The way to acdus can only be through justice. You will never be able to get everyone together, but if you continue to follow only what the Zabl"a required and the voices of the people (a.k.a the election) - which you're b"h doing well very well until now - you will succeed.

Zaki, I wish you much סעייתא דשמיא .

  3. I don't understand how they are claiming that Zaki שיחי asserted that Rabbi Rosenberg instructed him not to listed to the Ikul.

I just re-read the original post, and it says nothing of the sort!

It seems like some with take anything out of context - just to smear someone they don't agree with.

And by the way, how did they obtain PRIVATE communications between the Rabbonim of the Zabl"o? is there a 'mole' on the Beis Din?

  5. Just read that Rabbi Rosenberg is resigning from the Zabla Bais Din. I thought for sure you would have posted something about this on your blog. ZT, you represent the CH community - please make a statement about this. Give us your opinion.

  6. Zaki, there is no need for you to come out with any new statements of this matter. Everything that is needed to be said was said.

until/if the Zabl"o comes out with something different, we have very clear and unequivocal Piskey Dinim from them.

the loosing party to any Din Torah will always have 'taanos' and be disgruntled. its a simple fact of live.

As a community, we need to move on to other matters.

  7. No previous ruling have been retracted or altered.

The last Psak Din to be issued by the Beis Din stated that Rabbi Yossi Braun is the third rabbi in the Crown Heights Rabbinate.

So long as the case is not reopened, the status quo is unchangeable.

  8. TO Chaim K.

What you wrote in regard to the other person's "Anonymous" comment is pure nonsense. The Torah is not something you can ignore. The Torah is not hefker. Think for a moment - who IS the losing party?

  9. I am addressing the person who wrote a comment beginning with "No previous ruling have been retracted or altered" etc. This is WRONG. Rabbi Havlin, a member of the Zabla Beis Din, stated that nothing is confirmed until the Ikul is addressed through a Din Torah hearing.

  10. Mr. Tamir,

As a leader of the CH community, please let us know in a clear statement what your position is regarding the matter with Rabbi Rosenberg, the ikul, etc. Where are you holding?
