I know for a fact the our local police precincts are doing their best to make sure that Crown Heights is a safe place to live. Nonetheless, it's important that the NYPD is accountable to the people they serve.
Please make sure to contact me if you have suffered from any unjust treatment at the hands of the police, or if a crime you have reported in not being handled correctly and professionally.
We want a friendly relationship with the NYPD - but not at the expense of our safety, dignity and well-being.
