Dear Brothers & Sisters,
The language of the ikul issued by the Beis Din of Rabbi Chaim Kraus, shlita, implies that members of our community, unrelated to the Zabla, have requested the ikul on behalf of the entire Crown Heights community.
However, the names of these individuals were not stated in the ikul document, nor were they disclosed (to my knowledge) to any member of the Vaad Hakohol.
In the comments section of this post please comment with one word only: 'FOR' or 'AGAINST’. The word ‘FOR’ suggests that the ikul represents your position, and the word ‘AGAINST’ suggests that the ikul does not represent your position.
Most importantly, please, for the purpose of this posting make sure to sign your REAL NAME, do not be scared to be the master of your destiny, it certainly beats being a victim of circumstance. A "no-name" declaration is not useful because lacks legitimacy.
If you are not comfortable with signing your real name then please comment on a different related post. My request to you is please post your name, there are no wrong positions.
This will bear no weight WHATSOEVER on the actions or decisions taken by myself or the Vaad. It is merely intended to get a feeling of the sentiments of the residents of the shechuna.
Please respond with integrity and do not, G-d forbid, sign the name of another person, as such behavior is both illegal and against halacha.
Thank you!

ReplyDeleteIt has to be resolved properly.
ReplyDeleteThere are two solutions
One. Rabbi Braun agrees to give the Smicha's to an expert that both sides agree on and if the Smicha is verified that no wrong doings were committed Rabbi Osdoba accepts Braun. He gets proper Shimush before sitting on Din Torah's.
But if it turns out that wrongdoings were committed Rabbi Braun agrees not to come.
Another solution is that both sides agree on a third Beis Din that will decide.
Or you can make a new election.

ReplyDeletewhy would anyone who wants the truth be against this. unless you have something to be scared of! so i am saying FOR! yes i am for investigating so this way rabbi braun can be rov 100% and there will never be any questions. and we can shut up the people that are opposed to him being rov! i am FOR making sure there was no scam in the elections or in the nomination of rabbi braun!! it will take a few weeks but its worth it so we can get this over with and move on

ReplyDeleteIf you are FOR then Ikkul, then what's the limit? If we take care of this one and another Ikkul is made, then we have to be FOR that one also?!
ReplyDeleteEnough Narishkeit. Broun won and thats it.
