From the Comments...

Q: If we are going all the way towards transparency, will the vaad hakashrus publish financial statements for the community, as proper stewardship would require?
A: The Vaad Hakashrus will be transparent and accounting will be presented to netzigim once per month pursuant to the by-laws.

Q: You and our Rov should work this out privately [meaning the smichah documents].
A: These matters are not private. There is nothing private about public service.

  1. Zaki Tamir had said:

"Is he (Chanin) demanding to be a signatory on the account? You better believe it!"

That makes it sound as though they have only 1 account.

The truth is that the CHJCC has at least 12 or more different bank accounts.

    In addition:

The Vaad Hakohol is legally a separate entity from the CHJCC and the Vaad has it's own bank Accounts, independent of the CHJCC

  2. The CHK is (is currently LEGALLY corporated as a privately owned coompany of a few private indivduals) as an enterprise of it's own, with it own (several) independent bank Accounts.

The way you stated it makes it sound like it's all just one account.

I think that the Vaad owes the community a full disclosure on which accounts Chanin will have control and which not.

  3. Regarding the CHK:

Zaki Tamir must also make it clear if the Vaad now has full control of all of the bank accounts of the CHK or is it still being controlled as a sole proprietorship of someone other than the Vaad.

  4. Concerning funding with community's help, you understand that the community is only interested to help by donating financially if they feel that all the funds are spent only as per the Psak Din of the Zabla.

The Psak Din required that any relatives now working in the CHK, must be let go and certainly not paid.

If the Vaad currently has no financial control of hiring or firing of the CHK staff then it means that the CHK funds, which could be used to help pay the 3 Rabbonim, are still being used to pay for individual workers INSTEAD of these funds used to help pay the 3 Rabbonim.

As long as this not fixed, why should anyone want to pay Mas Hakohol if we are not yet satisfied as to where all prior funds, destined for the Rabbonim, are actually perhaps being used to pay someone else instead, contrary to the Psak Din.

  5. Concerning several millions in funds "un-accounted for" by Rubashkin, when he was head of the CHJCC:

This was part of the Zabla Din Torah and not completely ruled on yet by Rabbi Rosenberg because Rabbi Rosenberg said he is holding off on rulling on the Rubashkin funds issue, pending if the newly elected Vaad Members (i.e. Zaki Tamir) will want a Psak Din on this financial issue.

This means that we could perhaps have Rubashkin pay, a few million dollars, back to the Vaad, which would perhaps (in part) help pay the Rabbonim now.

Will our community have a full disclosure of where all prior funds went and how and why etc.

Is Chanin committed to make sure that any funds that were inappropriately diverted until now, that this will be disclosed and returned.
