Typing and Keyboarding Skills - Level 1
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to really type without looking at the keys, while becoming familiar with keyboard functions and shortcuts that will enable you to produce professional letters, tables, and graphs quickly and efficiently? Typing professionally is a powerful tool in developing hand-eye co-ordination and sequencing.
 CHTC is offering typing and keyboarding courses for both ladies (mornings) and girls grades 7th (after school).

These courses will run for 4 weeks, 2 sessions/week, for 2 hours/day.
The course fee is $320


Basic Computing Skills
Are you familiar with the programs on your computer? How about terms such as
“browser”, “search engine”, and “web parental control?"
CHTC is offering a course that will give you a thorough overview of three of the  main programs on every computer and the tools that maximize their use.

This course runs for 2 weeks with 4 sessions in intro in your PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The fee for this course is $200


Graphic Design (for Girls)
This is an off-line introduction to design and the programs available that will give you the tools to create anything from stationary and school projects to your own web site. This course is fun, interactive and empowering for grades 5 - 10, developing a creative outlook skills necessary for any career.

These courses will run for 5 weeks, 2 sessions/week, for 1.5 hours/session.
The course fee is $240.

eCommerce sites spend millions of dollars per month on Search and Display advertising. These companies employ analysts who are google AdWords or google Analytics certified to manage these campaigns, ranging from $10,000 for a start-up to more than $1M per month for the major ecommerce retailers.
Offering these courses at this time gives Crown Heights residents a leg up into the explosion of video on the web and other technologies that will be only become more dominant in the business world of the next 20 years.
The curriculum will include the business of eCommerce; eCommerce technology; Lead generation, Landing Pages, and Affiliate Networks; AdWords Accounts, Campaigns,Targeting, Placement, Bidding and Budgeting; Display and YouTube Advertising; Performance Monitoring; and Conversion Tracking and google Analytics.
